We’re redeveloping the garden at our residential home, Forward Vision, to give the young adults who live there a safe and stimulating outdoor space.

Our aim is to transform our outdoor space into a sensory haven for the young adults to enjoy every day.

Jamie lives at Forward Vision. He has boundless energy and loves spending time outdoors.

The sensory garden will provide a relaxing and engaging space for people like Jamie, as well as their families to make memories and spend time together.

Our garden renovations will provide peace and tranquility to the young people with sight loss who call Forward Vision their home. The young people will be able to:

• Spend time in the summer house

• Smell and run their fingers through the aromatic plant gardens

• Listen to the relaxing water feature

• Access the sunken wheelchair accessible trampoline

• Relax outdoors no matter the weather in the sheltered seating area

Please help us to make our sensory garden a reality.

Before the pandemic, families of the people we care for at Forward Vision raised almost £10,000 towards the garden redevelopment. The pandemic sadly put a halt to the redevelopment, but we are now resuming our plans to deliver the sensory garden to improve life for Jamie and the other individuals we support.
