We’ve been producing accessible formats for over 125 years, providing blind and partially sighted people with formats which enable equal access to the written word.
We've been producing braille since the 1890's, as a commercial enterprise that was set up to provide employment for people with visual impairments. Today, we continue this legacy and we are proud to have been awarded the Disability Confident award to this end.
The Scottish Braille Press is part of the charity Sight Scotland. We reinvest all of our profits back into helping fund Sight Scotland’s support for people with visual impairments and sight loss across the country, giving them the tools they need to thrive.
