Stewart leads the team at Jenny’s Well. He started working for Sight Scotland in August 2017, shortly before Jenny's Well opened, bringing with him years of experience within the NHS and Private Sector for Older People.
Stewart’s qualifications include a Post Graduate MSc in mental health (Gerontology and Mental Health), specialising in dementia care.
He said: "By using the Senses Framework as a model of care we are able to better appreciate things from the various perspectives of residents, their family, carers or close contacts, and staff in the development of care planning and the New Care Standards.
"Working closely with staff and residents on a day to day basis means I can constantly monitor and evaluate standards, and give guidance and support to staff in achieving the individualised, person-centred care which maintains identities.
"I feel passionately about making care for older people right, and know that all of us together can make the very best it can possibly be to both live and work in."
