Laraine trained as a nurse and after leaving the service of the NHS, spent many years working in Medical Affairs in the Pharmaceutical Industry.
She obtained an MBA from Strathclyde University Business School and is now a consultant offering Medical Affairs expertise to client companies. She is a Trustee of Eczema Outreach Support and her experience of living with her late husband who was visually impaired, motivated her to join Sight Scotland.
