Paul is the Chair of both of the charities.
Paul has been working for charities for the past 30 years, and has spent the last 15 years as a trustee and chair of charities in England and Scotland.
He started his career in social care as a support worker in a registered care home, going on to work across the four nations of the UK. He has previously worked for charities supporting people with sight loss, including time as Chief Executive of Vista (The Royal Leicestershire, Rutland and Wycliffe Society for the Blind).
Paul has been Chief Executive of award-winning charity SJOG (St John of God Hospitaller Services) since 2018. He is also co-author of 'We're here to help' - a guide on how to run a charity - and was recognised as the Third Sector Leader of the Year in 2020.
