Help change a life today

One in five people will start to live with sight loss in their lifetime.

You can help them get the support they need in this life-changing moment.

Fair Rail: Free Companion Rail Travel

Great News! From 1 April 2025, companions of blind and partially sighted people can travel free on all ScotRail trains. If you have the National Entitlement Card with the eye+1 symbol, your companion won't pay a penny.

This is what we've been fighting for since 2022, and it finally brings trains in line with the free companion travel already available on buses and ferries.

For thousands of people with sight loss across Scotland, this means more freedom, fewer costs, and the chance to get out and about without worrying about the extra fare.
