Jenny joined Sight Scotland Veterans as Practice Lead for the North of Scotland in March 2020, before becoming the Interim Head of Community Support in January 2021.
Jenny leads the Outreach Team and is responsible for developing our Community strategy to help us reach and support more people with sight loss in Scotland.
Previously CEO of Cantraybridge – an education and social care provider in Inverness – Jenny has 18 years' experience in sensory services. In roles with Highland Council and NHS Highland, she helped to drive significant change in sight and hearing loss services – from the introduction of one-stop shop services to the development of sensory awareness training for social care and medical staff.
Jenny said: "I joined Sight Scotland Veterans at an exciting time for the outreach service, as it seeks to reach more veterans with sight loss across Scotland. Our services are open to anyone with a service history, including National Service. It doesn't matter when or how your sight loss occurred - if you served and have sight loss significantly affecting your independence, please get in touch."
