Following a distinguished career in public service, former Chief Executive for East Lothian Council, Monica Patterson, brings extensive local government expertise and knowledge to the Board. Her experience of senior executive level positions spans over 30 years and prior to this she worked for several years as a Housing professional for a number of Local Authorities throughout Scotland.
For many years Monica and her family have supported services to assist those who are visually impaired. Monica has also a track record of serving as a board member and chairperson, contributing leadership, governance expertise and financial acumen. This compliments a practical, people focused approach to the organisations she supports.
