We are looking for caring, creative, forward thinking and dedicated people to join our Older People Support Service within the Community Services team at Sight Scotland, the new name for Royal Blind.
We aim to reduce the isolation and anxiety often felt by those with sight loss, while improving confidence to live well with visual impairment now and in the future.
The service will provide support to individuals impacted by sight loss by adopting a person-centred approach ensuring they are fully equipped to adapt to the changing world around them.
This is a temporary position, initially for 18 months based in Paisley with regular travel throughout Glasgow and Strathclyde. Applicants should have an SVQ level 3 Health and Social Care (or willingness to work towards), or another professional health or social care qualification.
