Do you have a loved one who is living with sight loss? 

At Sight Scotland, we know that sight loss is challenging not only for the individual but for the people around them too.

Our Family Wellbeing Service support family members and friends to support their loved one adapt to sight loss. From the point of diagnosis, when it's most difficult to know where to turn - we'll be there.

The Family Wellbeing Support Line is a free, confidential service for families and carers of people with sight loss in Scotland.

Our friendly team can provide information on a range of topics including:

  • Emotional support 

  • Advice on coping with visual impairment

  • Maintaining independence

  • Benefits and financial support

  • How to get help locally
