Registrations are now open for Glasgow, Dundee, Edinburgh and Aberdeen offering three distances:

The Mighty Stride (20 - 25 miles)
The Big Stroll (11 -15 miles)
The Wee Wander (3 - 6 miles)

We're here to provide care, learning opportunities and support to transform lives after sight loss. Your support means so much to us and will help us ensure everyone living with sight loss in Scotland can lead a full life of independence.

In return, we can offer you bespoke support on your fundraising journey!

All our fundraisers receive Sight Scotland or Sight Scotland Veterans branded athletic wear for their chosen event as well as support ahead of the event to help you set up and successfully run your fundraising page, so you can raise as much as possible for a good cause. And on the day of the event, our cheer squads will also be there to support you every step of the way.

Fundraise with free entry for Sight Scotland at the Kiltwalk 2026

Anyone who commits to fundraising for Sight Scotland at the Kiltwalk 2026 can nab an amazing 100% discount code to be used against the entry fee - so you wont pay a thing!

Here’s how to secure your place:

  1. Choose your Kiltwalk location and distance (for example, Glasgow Kiltwalk and The Mighty Stride)
  2. Email sam.smith@sightscotland.org.uk with details of your chosen location and distance, and an agreement to commit to fundraising (details below)
  3. Once received, we’ll then send you a discount code which you can use to register at thekiltwalk.co.uk when you select Sight Scotland as your charity
  4. And you’re in! From there, we’ll be in touch with helpful information and tips to help you get ready for your challenge event and with your fundraising

Your fundraising commitment

If you take a free entry place with Sight Scotland, we ask for a commitment to raising money for the charity. Each Kiltwalk distance has a different fundraising goal which you will need to meet in order to be guarantee a free entry space - don't worry, you'll have plenty of time and lots of help from us to make sure you smash those targets!

The fundraising goals for each distance distance are:

The Mighty Stride - £100 fundraising commitment
The Big Stroll - £200 fundraising commitment
The Wee Wander - £300 fundraising commitment
