We're excited to let you know about some fantastic new groups we’re setting up across Sight Scotland and Sight Scotland Veterans that puts your voice right at the heart of what we do.
These groups will play a key role in sending us in our new direction of how decisions are made and help to generate new ideas on how we can support even more people living with sight loss.

Hello everyone. I’m Craig, the new Chief Executive for Sight Scotland and Sight Scotland Veterans. I’m delighted to start in my new role and excited about our ambition to reach more people affected by sight loss. I also believe it’s really important that blind and partially sighted people themselves set our priorities for our campaigns for an inclusive Scotland for people with sight loss, and that the services we provide genuinely reflect what’s most important to people who use them.
You may be able to tell from my accent that I have spent most of my life in Australia, but I am delighted to be here in Scotland where my family is from. I know it’s good practise to describe what’s in a video if you are visually impaired, so I’ve got dark hair, a beard and glasses and I’m sitting in my living room.
I want to let you know about some fantastic new groups we’re setting up across both charities that put your voice right at the heart of what we do. These groups will play a key role in sending us in our new direction of how decisions are made at Sight Scotland and Sight Scotland Veterans. From developing our campaigns and policy work, helping to design new services, to coming up with new ideas on how we can support even more people living with sight loss, we want to hear from you.
We’ll be sharing more information in the coming weeks of how to get involved so stayed tuned for updates. You can also sign up to get email updates directly to your inbox by adding your details below or by calling 07718 486323.
