Standard or Charity Entry
A Charity Entry means that Sight Scotland covers the cost of your entry fee, so there is no cost to you to enter. In return, we ask that you fundraise for us and meet a minimum fundraising amount, which varies depending on the race you are entering. Our minimum fundraising amounts for each distance are:
EMF 5k : £80 minimum
EMF 10k : £100 minimum
Half Marathon : £250 minimum
Full Marathon : £400 minimum
Scroll down to read about all the support you'll receive from our fundraising team when you sign up with a charity entry.
A Standard Entry means you have to pay the entry fee yourself, which varies depending on the race you choose to take part in. You can still fundraise for Sight Scotland even if you choose this option and there will be no minimum fundraising target. If you decide to pay for your own entry then it's best to book in early to make the most of the discounted Early Entry spaces.
Why fundraise for Sight Scotland?
We're here to provide care, learning opportunities and support to transform lives after sight loss. Your support means so much to us and will help us ensure everyone living with sight loss in Scotland can lead a full life of independence.
In return, we can offer you bespoke support on your fundraising journey!
All our fundraisers receive Sight Scotland branded athletic wear for their chosen event as well as support ahead of the event to help you set up and successfully run your fundraising page, so you can raise as much as possible for a good cause. And on the day of the event, our cheer squads will also be there to support you every step of the way.
