Clair joined Sight Scotland Veterans in August 2020. MBA qualified, she brings with her two decades of leadership experience within national charity services for adults with long-term conditions and disabilities.
Clair says: “Since joining the Sight Scotland Veterans team, all I’ve heard is positivity and enthusiasm for the charity and the huge potential that there is to help and support more people in the community. Everyone wants to engage more people, and I think there’s a great opportunity to do that and extend the services to allow even more veterans with sight loss to benefit from the vast range of free support available.”
Before joining Sight Scotland Veterans, Clair was head of Services at MS Society Scotland from 2014. Previously Head of Volunteering at Marie Curie, Clair is a passionate advocate of co-production with service users and communities, and has a strong track-record in leading innovative, person-centred approaches to supported self-management and wellbeing, tailored to local circumstances and partnership opportunities.
