Michael chairs the boards of the charities, and is Convener of the Remuneration and Appointments Committee.
Michael is an experienced manager, trustee and actuary who is able to work collaboratively with others to shape, communicate and implement change within an organisation. He played a key role in a number of Standard Life's major corporative initiatives, including the demutualisation of the company.
Michael is results-orientated with a passionate focus on service quality and proven facilitation, strategic and interpersonal skills. He is a team player who seeks to nurture and encourage others in the achievement of a common goal.
